More information:
We’re carefully watching Hurricane Ian. At this time, NHC reports Ian will have its strongest effects on the west coast of Florida. It also reports that Ian, just like many hurricanes, will be significantly diminished in power by the time its remnants reach Augusta, which is 300 miles from the Gulf Coast and 150 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. As of today, we are planning for a lot (1-3 inches) of rain throughout Friday and Saturday. We understand the weather could affect your travel arrangements and ability to make it to the conference. So, today, we are issuing addendum 1 to our refund policy, honoring weather-related refund requests for attendees living in or traveling from the State of Florida.

Note: BSidesAugusta is a Georgia non-profit corporation directed and staffed ONLY by unpaid volunteers. We’ve already procured the products and services necessary to run this week’s events and have made significant investments in making Saturday’s event successful for hundreds of attendees. If you don’t need the refund, please consider not asking for it.We appreciate your support of BSidesAugusta! Hope to see you Saturday!
